Data deletion

How to permanently remove your Elevion account and all the data we hold about you, including data from Instagram.

This page explains how to delete your Elevion account and all personal data connected to it, as provided for by the GDPR right to erasure, the CCPA right to delete, and Meta's Platform Terms.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address and password hash.
  • Your Instagram connections, including the access tokens we stored for them.
  • All campaigns, comment and message history, leads and their contact details.
  • The daily follower numbers we saved for your Instagram accounts.
  • Your login sessions, notifications and team memberships.

What we have to keep: invoices and booking records stay with us and with our payment provider Stripe for as long as German tax and commercial law require (up to 10 years). They are kept apart from the product and used for nothing else.

Option 1: delete it yourself in Elevion

Log in and open Settings, Account, then choose Delete account and confirm with your password. After that:

  • Your campaigns stop right away.
  • You have 7 days to change your mind. Log in during that time and keep your account with one click.
  • After 7 days we cancel any running subscription and delete everything listed above for good.

Option 2: ask us by email

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my data. We confirm it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest.

Option 3: remove Elevion inside Instagram

In Instagram, open Settings, Apps and websites and remove Elevion. Instagram then tells us automatically and we end the connection: the stored access token is no longer used and all campaigns for that account pause.

If you also ask Instagram to delete your data, Meta sends us a signed deletion request. We then delete everything we hold for that Instagram account right away, including its campaigns, messages and leads, and give Meta a confirmation code. Your Elevion account itself stays, so you can connect a different Instagram account. To delete everything, also use option 1 or 2.
