When to pick LinkDM instead of Elevion

LinkDM is an Instagram DM automation tool from Melbourne, Australia. It is the better choice in some cases, and Elevion is in others.

Pick LinkDM if

  • You want to start free. LinkDM's free plan connects 1 account and sends up to 1,000 DMs a month, with LinkDM branding.
  • You run 2 or 3 accounts on a small budget. LinkDM Pro covers 3 accounts for $19 a month, and Elevion Creator covers 1.
  • You want to send DMs to people who commented on older posts. LinkDM lists a Rewind feature for this.
  • You want broadcast DMs, which LinkDM lists as a feature.

Pick Elevion if

  • Your posts can go viral. Elevion has no monthly DM limit, so a reel that takes off doesn't hit a cap.
  • Your audience is in the EU and you want your data on servers in Germany rather than in the United States or Australia.
  • You want an AI assistant that answers DM questions in your tone and hands personal or price questions to you (Business).
  • You want emails and phone numbers saved in one lead inbox that you can export anytime (Business).

How to switch from LinkDM to Elevion

  1. Write down what runs in LinkDM

Note your LinkDM keywords, public replies and DM text for each post, and the email tool your leads go to.

  2. Start the Elevion trial

Sign up and connect Instagram through Instagram's own login, then rebuild each campaign: the post, the keyword, your public replies and the DM. 7 days free, no card needed.

  3. Switch post by post

Turn off the LinkDM automation on a post, then switch on the Elevion campaign for it, so nobody gets two DMs. When every post runs on Elevion, cancel LinkDM.

LinkDM and Elevion: common questions

Is LinkDM cheaper than Elevion?
Yes. LinkDM Pro is $19 a month and covers up to 3 Instagram accounts and 25,000 DMs a month. Elevion Creator is €29.99 a month for 1 account with no monthly DM limit, and Elevion has no free plan, only a 7-day trial.
Does LinkDM add its branding to DMs?
On the free plan, yes. LinkDM's pricing page lists removing LinkDM branding as a Pro feature. Elevion never adds its own branding to your DMs.
Can I run LinkDM and Elevion at the same time?
Yes. Instagram lets you connect more than one tool to the same account, so you can try Elevion while LinkDM keeps running. Just don't automate the same post or keyword in both, or people who comment get two DMs.
Where does LinkDM store data?
LinkDM's privacy policy says its servers are in the United States and Australia, and the company is WebDotClub Pty Ltd in Melbourne. Elevion stores your data on servers in Germany.
